Academic activities at Yobe State University may face serious disruption as the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) threatens industrial action over unpaid arrears and unimplemented agreements. The union says the Yobe State Government has failed to honour key terms contained in a 2025 Memorandum of Understanding signed with the lecturers.
