Ashley Rowland, a 39-year-old Oklahoma woman, was arrested for child abandonment after allegedly giving her 2-year-old daughter to a man in exchange for drugs. Rowland admitted to handing the child over to a man named “Carlos” who may be in Mexico, and she has not seen her daughter since April 2022. Rowland was initially booked into jail with a $3,000 bond but was released before a judge’s decision to raise it to $100,000. Due to incomplete paperwork, Rowland was let out before the new bond could be processed, and an arrest warrant will be issued for her.
