February 15 2024- Education entrepreneurship is gaining momentum, particularly in response to long-standing frustrations with traditional schools, exacerbated by the shortcomings highlighted during the pandemic. With the rapid expansion of school choice programs in multiple states, entrepreneurs are reshaping public education with innovative models tailored to students’ needs and responsive to families seeking alternatives. Black education entrepreneurs are actively participating in and leading this movement. School choice provides the freedom for parents, teachers, and students to choose and innovate, creating educational environments that not only meet academic standards but also foster cultural identity, community cohesion, and holistic development.
