Brothers Fight Back After Nearly $400 Fees Threaten Their Lemonade Stand

Three young brothers in rural Michigan have pushed back against proposed fees they say would have made their lemonade stand impossible to run, after being told charges could reach nearly $400. The siblings, who have spent the past three summers selling homemade lemonade and small farm goods at a local farmers market, said the costs would have wiped out almost all of their earnings, prompting them to take their concerns directly to a community meeting with their state representative.
