< 1 min read

Gov. Ned Lamont (D-Conn.) rolled out a two-year, $54 million proposal to increase state aid for special education services on Monday.

The proposal comes after significant appeals from towns and cities across the state.

“We’re in this for the kids and each and every one of these kids,” Lamont said at a Monday morning press conference. “We want you to know that we love you, and that’s why we’re making this commitment, and that’s why it’s here, on both sides of the aisle.”
