February 15 2024- Brittany Tyler, a foster parent in Kentucky, felt a strong connection to a news story about a baby boy surrendered at a fire station in May 2022. She prayed that the baby would be placed with her family, and her wish came true. She and her husband, Chris, later learned that the newborn’s birth mother had left him in a shoebox with a note expressing her love but inability to care for him. The couple adopted the baby, whom they named Samuel, on December 18, 2023, after fostering him for 581 days. Samuel, now 20 months old, joined his older brothers Judah, 8, and Calvin, 5, completing their loving family.
