N.J. weather: Heavy rain sparks flash flood warnings in parts of South Jersey

Two counties in southern New Jersey are under flash flood warnings because of heavy rain falling from slow-moving showers and thunderstorms Thursday afternoon in areas that are already saturated from recent rain. The National Weather Service issued one warning at 1:50 p.m., covering the central region of Atlantic County and the northeastern section of Cumberland County, effective through 5:45 p.m.
