The mother of a 3-year-old boy who was found dead in the snow Sunday morning in Maine is giving more details about what happened.
Maine State Police said that the boy’s aunt called 911 around 8:30 a.m. saying her 3-year-old nephew was missing.
Authorities said the father found the child unresponsive in the snow a short distance from their home in the town of Corinna.
Police said the boy died from what appeared to be exposure to the elements.
