Superintendent of Schools buys historic Bell Tower building downtown

February 1 2024- The Bell Tower building in downtown is undergoing a transformation in its history as the Kern County Superintendent of Schools has purchased the property for $4.385 million. The Mojibi family, who owned the building since 1978, completed the sale, and escrow closed on Wednesday. The acquisition aims to expand the available meeting and training space for the Kern County Superintendent of Schools.
