Mohammad A. H. Mohammad, a 63-year-old Alabama plumber, was arrested for allegedly attempting to hire someone to murder his estranged wife and six adult children. He allegedly met with an undercover FBI agent posing as a hitman, offering a $550 down payment. Mohammad and his wife, married since March 2021, are in active divorce proceedings. Previous allegations include threats, physical abuse, and use of weapons against family members. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for September 27, 2024, in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Alabama.
