Enugu State Governor Dr. Peter Mbah has initiated the construction of a Centre for Experiential Learning and Innovation at the Enugu State College of Education (Technical). This facility, featuring 25 model classrooms, an ICT hub, and an e-library, will focus on training teachers in digital innovation, mechatronics, AI, and robotics to support the state’s 260 smart schools. The Centre aims to enhance teaching methods by promoting experiential learning, allowing teachers to gain hands-on experience with technology and project-based education before starting their teaching practice. This initiative aligns with the state’s goals of building skilled human capital, supporting sustainable development, and achieving zero poverty.
