Houston ISD says most of its Principals, but less than Half its Teachers, View District as Improving

An internal survey in Houston ISD revealed differing opinions among principals and teachers about the district’s direction. While 97% of principals believe HISD is “headed in the right direction” under state-appointed leadership, only 39% of teachers share that view. The district plans to use this feedback as a baseline to identify areas for growth and improvement. The full survey results and details about its anonymity were not immediately available.
