Northern Kentucky University’s College of Health and Human Services is helping students explore medical careers beyond nursing and doctor roles. The college offers tours to local high schools, showcasing careers like lab and imaging technicians. Recently, Campbell County High School students toured the facility to learn about healthcare options. Trina Cossin, Director of the School of Allied Health, emphasized the importance of exposing students to a range of careers. The tours include a visit to NKU’s Center for Simulation Education, where students can practice real-life healthcare situations in specialized rooms, such as operating and critical care rooms.
