Police have arrested a woman who they say kidnapped her own children from a Virginia bus stop on Thursday, triggering an Amber Alert.
The Augusta County Sheriff’s Office said late Thursday that Shanice Davison, 55, was arrested following a brief pursuit on Interstate 495 in the Birmingham area of Alabama, about 600 miles southwest of the kidnapping. They say her three children were safe and unharmed.
