In a bid to reduce the alarming number of out-of-school children in the North, the United Nations Children’s Fund has partnered with media practitioners in Kaduna on the need to tackle the menace and other factors militating against the growth of children in the region and by extension the country.
While declaring the one-day event open, the UNICEF Cap specialist, Abuja office, who represented the Country Director, Susan Akila, noted that the media had been their partner for decades.
