February 13 2024- In Kidandan Village of Giwa Local Government Area in Kaduna State, there was tension as 10 children sustained injuries in an explosion that occurred while they were playing with an object found in a nearby bush. The object, suspected to be a bomb, suddenly exploded. Images obtained by Daily Trust show the injured children receiving assistance from residents before being taken to Shika Hospital in Zaria for treatment. The Village Head, Alhaji Abubakar Umar Ruka, confirmed the incident, mentioning that no fatalities occurred, and the injured children were receiving medical attention. The police have reportedly visited the community to investigate the incident.
