Olori Janet Afolabi, Queen of Apomu Kingdom, launched the Project Feed A Child In Need (FACIN) on May 27 at Alapomu Palace to mark Children’s Day. FACIN aims to provide food to poor, vulnerable, homeless, out-of-school children, and orphans in rural areas, addressing the high cost of feeding. Olori Afolabi initiated the project after recognizing that many parents, especially petty traders and peasant farmers, struggle to feed their children. Approximately 1000 children attended the event, participating in activities such as marching, quizzes, and dance competitions.
