Police in Mutoko are currently investigating a tragic murder case involving an 11-year-old juvenile who fatally attacked his 1-year-and-9-month-old sister with a log. The incident occurred in Mutoko earlier this week. Allegedly, the infant was left in the care of the juvenile and other siblings by their mother. While playing with his siblings, the juvenile suddenly grabbed a log and assaulted his sister, striking her repeatedly on the upper abdomen, neck, and back until she struggled to breathe. Realizing the severity of the situation, the juvenile sought help from nearby villagers, but the infant was already deceased. The authorities have confirmed the incident, and the body awaits a post-mortem examination as investigations continue.
