The Federal Government has required all higher education institutions in the country to submit their matriculation lists to the Federal Ministry of Education within three months of ceremonies, using the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board’s dedicated channel. This directive stems from a recommendation by a committee formed to address and combat fake degree mills. The committee was established in response to an investigative report revealing fraudulent degree activities in the Benin Republic.
