Grooming Endowment Trust (GET) and the Association for Formidable Education (AFED) have granted N200,000 each to 12 outstanding teachers from marginalized communities across Nigeria. Recipients include educators from various regions such as Lagos, Rivers, Ogun, Delta, Bauchi, Kaduna, Plateau, and Nassarawa states. Michael Adoghe, the Operations Manager for GET, praised the teachers’ resilience during a virtual award ceremony, highlighting the impressive response with over 500 applications from six geopolitical zones. The grants aim to ease the teachers’ challenges and enhance their effectiveness in the classroom.
