The Lagos State Government has approved the inclusion of Yoruba Language as a subject for the Placement Test by Continuous Assessment Scores (CAS) starting in 2025. This decision was announced by Mr. Abayomi Abolaji, Permanent Secretary of the Lagos State Ministry of Basic and Secondary Education, during a stakeholders’ meeting. The test will assess primary six pupils transitioning to junior secondary schools in Yoruba Language, alongside Mathematics, English Studies, Verbal Reasoning, and General Paper.
