The Ekiti Baptist High School Old Students’ Association (Lagos/Ogun Region) has introduced a N1 billion endowment fund aimed at reviving the school’s infrastructure. At the launch event titled ‘Mega Launch’ in Lagos, the President of the association, Mr. Ifeloka Oyebade, highlighted the urgent need for rehabilitation due to the school’s dilapidated state. Since the government assumed control of the school in 1976, it has struggled to maintain its quality. Oyebade emphasized the deteriorating condition of various facilities such as classrooms, dining halls, and laboratories. The endowment fund seeks to provide a long-term solution by generating income to address these issues, enabling the construction of durable infrastructure to support both staff and students, restoring the school to its former stature.
