The Yobe State Ministry of Health, in collaboration with various health agencies, will launch a Human Papillomavirus Vaccine (HPVV) campaign targeting children aged 9-14 to prevent diseases like cervical cancer. The campaign will last five days, starting at Government Girls College Damaturu, with a focus on female children. Nigeria’s high HPV-related cancer rates highlight the importance of immunization. Parents are urged to ensure their children receive the vaccine for protection against these diseases.
