February 9 2024- In the ID docuseries “The Curious Case of Natalia Grace: Natalia Speaks,” a DNA test confirmed the age of Natalia Grace, an orphan adopted by Michael and Kristine Barnett in 2010. The former adoptive parents had previously claimed that Natalia, who has a rare genetic disorder, was an adult with dangerous tendencies at the time of adoption. However, the DNA test revealed that Natalia was around 22 years old as of August 2023, indicating that she would have been approximately 9 years old when she moved in with her adoptive parents. Natalia expressed feeling vindicated by the DNA test results and asserted that the Barnetts had lied about her age, painting her as a monster and ruining her life.
