February 23 2024- Stay-at-home mom Stephanie Claytor wrote a children’s book about her travels to Ghana to explore her heritage. The book aims to teach children, especially Black children, about African culture and emphasizes the importance of understanding their roots beyond the narrative of slavery. Claytor hopes the book will offer a more accurate and positive representation of African history and heritage for children.
