Aaliyah Jack, 25, from Lake Charles, Louisiana, has confessed to killing her 4-year-old son, Legend Dary Jack, and abandoning her 1-year-old son, Kingtrail, along the interstate. Jack admitted to the crime while under the influence of drugs. Legend’s body was found in the water near the Louisiana Welcome Center on July 8, and Jack was subsequently tracked and arrested in Mississippi. Kingtrail was discovered alive and well, though with insect bites, near the interstate the following day. Jack faces charges of second-degree murder, cruelty to a juvenile, and failure to report a missing child, with a bond set at $9.1 million.
