March 7 2024- A hiring fair at Alpharetta High School in Fulton County Schools attracted hundreds of attendees seeking teaching positions. The fair aimed to fill 180 teaching positions across nearly 60 schools in north metro Atlanta, including Alpharetta, Johns Creek, Roswell, and Sandy Springs. The positions covered various grades and subjects, and candidates had the opportunity to receive a letter of intent for a contract on the spot. The district highlighted its efforts to retain employees, citing a decrease in staff turnover from 17% to 12% within one year.
