Police have charged a 15-year-old boy over an alleged machete attack and attempted robbery in Melbourne on Sunday night.
Police alleged a 39-year-old St Albans man,was walking along Barkly Street in St Kilda on Sunday night when he was approached by two people near Carlisle Street.
It is alleged the pair demanded the victim hand over his car keys and tried to grab his mobile phone before the male struck the victim across his head with a machete.
