An 8-year-old boy, Lionel Ramirez Cervantes, was found dead in a body of water on Thursday after running away from Bells Crossing Elementary School in Simpsonville, South Carolina. Lionel, who had autism and was non-verbal, was last seen on the playground around 11:10 a.m. A search involving 50 to 100 deputies, K-9s, and volunteers located his body around 3 p.m., close to the school. Further details about the incident are not yet available.
