The report highlighted that Alabama, Iowa, Mississippi, Missouri, Tennessee, Utah, and Virginia earned an “A” grade for requiring 2023 high school graduates to complete a personal finance course. The findings suggest a positive trend toward financial literacy education, with over 40% of high school students expected to attend schools where a personal finance course is mandatory within the next five years.
