A girl from Upstate New York has died after a nearly week-long battle with the flu. Mia Klyczek, of Alden, died Sunday of complications from influenza B, her family told WIVB. She was 9 years old.
“Heaven gained another angel tonight,” Mia’s mother, Christina Klyczek, wrote in a Facebook post. “God knew she was too perfect for this world.” Mia is survived by her parents, three younger siblings, grandparents and many other loved ones, according to her obituary.
