As Jefferson County Public Schools (JCPS) leaders took proposals for a potential new location for the district’s headquarters, education and business leaders came together to encourage JCPS to move downtown Louisville. More than 15 downtown leaders signed a letter sent to JCPS superintendent Dr. Marty Pollio. Among them was Alexandra Thurstone, the head of school at Francis Parker School of Louisville, which is located in downtown Louisville.
