Janaury 26 2024- A recent study published in Computers in Human Behavior suggests that marriages originating from online dating platforms may differ in satisfaction and stability compared to those formed through traditional offline means. While online dating is associated with more diverse marriages, the study indicates that it also presents unique challenges that can impact the quality of these relationships. Previous research suggested that online-initiated marriages might be more satisfying and stable, but the current study aims to provide a more comprehensive understanding of the long-term implications of online dating on marital satisfaction and stability.
