Estúdio Protobox in Vitória, Espírito Santo, Brazil, transformed an underutilized parking garage into the Children’s Studio at Colégio Salesiano, aligned with Montessori principles and the National Common Core Curriculum. The studio aims to cultivate autonomy, collaboration, and interactive learning among young children. Key design areas include social interaction, motor skill development, sensory stimulation, creativity through storytelling and verbal expression, and flexible exploration of space, time, quantities, and relationships. The space features a brightly lit indoor playground with colorful elements and varied floor designs to engage children’s senses and cognitive abilities.
