Nine Vietnamese higher education institutions have been included in the Best Global Universities Rankings 2024-2025 by News & World Report. These institutions include Duy Tan University, Ton Duc Thang University, Vietnam National University-Hanoi, Vietnam National University-Ho Chi Minh City, Hanoi University of Science and Technology, Nguyen Tat Thanh University, Hue University, HCMC University of Technology, and Can Tho University. The rankings evaluated 2,250 universities globally across 104 countries and territories, assessing them based on 13 indicators such as research reputation and quality, using surveys and data analysis from the Clarivate Analytics InCites database.
