The recent dismissal of Memphis-Shelby County Schools Superintendent Dr. Marie Feagins has left our district at a crossroads. As a principal, I have seen firsthand the challenges that school leaders across the district face every day. Although my role as president of the Principals Association gave me the opportunity to hear and elevate the concerns of my colleagues, I write this as John Bush, principal, speaking solely for myself.
