Two administrators at Houston ISD’s Harvard Elementary School, Assistant Principal Dr. Alejandra Perez and Magnet Coordinator Daisha Huntley, were escorted off campus on Thursday and reassigned to other schools. This follows the earlier leave of Principal Dr. Shelby Calabrese in October, a move that sparked parent protests. According to a district notice, the leadership changes are in the “best interest” of the school community, and Harvard Elementary will be led by a new team starting Friday. The notice also mentioned that Dr. Calabrese has been recommended for termination.
