A teenager has been rushed to hospital after an alleged stabbing at a shopping centre in Sydney’s west. Emergency services were called to Westfield Parramatta, on the corner of Campbell and Church streets, about 4pm today.
A 17-year-old boy was found with slash wounds to his arms and back. The teenager’s injuries are not believed to be life-threatening. He was treated by paramedics at the scene and taken to hospital in a stable condition. Police were told there had been an argument with a group of young people.
