January 17 2024- The text introduces a 29-year-old teacher at Rim Country Middle School in Arizona who, curious about the slang terms used by today’s youth, compiled a list of such terms he heard from his students. Formerly a youth pastor, he transitioned to teaching and decided to explore how many parents and teachers might be unaware of contemporary terminology. On October 16, he shared a comprehensive list of 24 terms in a video on his TikTok account, where he typically posts comedic content about his teaching experiences. The TikTok video gained attention, and the teacher expressed pride in recognizing 23 out of the 24 terms, seeking assistance in understanding the one unfamiliar term, “fanumtax.” Additionally, he clarified that “gyat” does not mean “Get Your Act Together.”
