A teenage girl was shot Tuesday afternoon about a block from Dunbar High School, and someone then dropped off the wounded girl at the school, police say. D.C. police believe the victim is 17. Her injuries are not life-threatening.
Police said they were called to the school in the 100 block of N Street NW shortly after 3 p.m. The girl was shot in the 200 block of Morgan Street NW, about a block away from Dunbar.
