The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) plans to address inconsistencies and potential mark inflation in internal assessments for science subjects (Classes 6 to 12) by developing a new framework with the British Council. Additionally, CBSE is considering implementing CCTV monitoring in classrooms during board exams to manage disturbances and ensure exam integrity. The proposed framework will align with the National Curriculum Framework for School Education (NCFSE) and Holistic Progress Cards to improve internal assessment practices. CBSE will also conduct workshops for school leaders to promote consistency, transparency, and fairness.
