The Ekiti State Government plans to vaccinate at least 300,000 girls against the Human Papilloma Virus (HPV) across its 16 local government areas. Mrs. Olayemi Oyebanji, the governor’s wife, urged parents and guardians to bring their daughters aged 9 to 14 for the immunisation. Speaking at the HPV vaccination campaign launch at Oluyemi Kayode Stadium in Ado-Ekiti, Dr. Oyebanji highlighted that the initiative aims to protect the health and future of young girls and women in the state.
