Access Bank Plc, in collaboration with 9ijakids and Kidpreneur Africa, has empowered over 83,500 children with essential financial management skills. During Global Money Week in March, Access Bank reached this milestone by engaging over 70,000 children across 20 states in Nigeria and five other African countries. The campaign included financial literacy talks, distribution of educational resources, and interactive games with cash prizes totaling over ₦2,000,000. Omobolanle Victor-Laniyan, Head of Sustainability at Access Bank, highlighted the importance of financial literacy in building a robust economy. The initiative provided comprehensive training on saving, investing, and earning, while also facilitating account opening for children to encourage saving from a young age. This effort reflects Access Bank’s dedication to promoting financial inclusion among children across Africa.
