Wellington Girls’ College Students to Learn From Home at Times During Next Six Weeks

Wellington Girls’ College has announced that students will need to learn from home for 2 to 5 days over the next six weeks due to structural issues with the school’s main teaching building, Brook Block, which is not earthquake resilient. The building will not be used, but an extension with office space and classrooms will remain operational. Until prefabricated classrooms are set up by mid-September, students will be rostered for remote learning by year group. Year 12 and 13 students will continue attending in-person classes until their derived grade exams commence.
