Reynolds, Adams say 4-day school weeks do not improve student achievement

Willmar school officials say one reason they aren’t interested in going to a 4-day school week is that there is no proof student achievement is improved with such a schedule. District residents were surveyed this past fall and a majority said they would be in favor of going to a 4-day week. School board member Mike Reynolds says they discussed it at a special school board work session and there did not appear to be an appetite to change at this time
