A southern Indiana couple, Herbert Halbert (57) and Theresa Halbert (52), have been arrested on multiple felony charges for allegedly injuring their children. The investigation, initiated on November 1 by the Orange County Department of Child Services, led to charges of domestic battery and dissemination of harmful materials. Herbert faces two counts of domestic battery involving a child under 14 and three counts of harmful matter dissemination. Theresa is charged with two counts of domestic battery in the presence of a child under 16. Both are being held without bond in the Orange County Jail, and the investigation is ongoing.
