< 1 min read

February 6 2024- A study by the American Library Association (ALA) reveals that 54 percent of surveyed Gen Z and Millennials had visited a library within the previous 12 months. The study indicates a higher rate of library visits among these younger generations compared to older ones. Even among those who don’t identify as regular readers, more than half have visited their local library in the past year. Contrary to stereotypes, the survey found that younger generations, while connected to their phones, prefer physical books, with respondents reading and buying twice as many print books per month.
