16-Year-Old Quincy Wilson Becomes Youngest American Male Track Olympian Ever

Quincy Wilson, a 16-year-old running sensation from Bullis School in Potomac, Maryland, has been selected for the U.S. Olympic track team, making him the youngest American male track Olympian. Wilson will compete in the 4×400 relay at the Paris Olympics. He secured his spot by finishing sixth in the 400-meter final at the U.S. Olympic trials in Eugene, Oregon. Wilson, who broke the world under-18 400-meter record twice en route to the trials, expressed gratitude for the opportunity despite his final placement. He joins seasoned track stars like Quincy Hall, Michael Norman, and Chris Bailey in representing Team USA in Paris.
