Connecticut could see much-needed rain this week. Here’s when and how much.

After a cool start to the day on Wednesday, temperatures across Connecticut will warm to near 80 degrees by the afternoon under mostly sunny skies, leading to a pleasant early September day. High pressure is in control of our weather pattern, meaning this dry and sunny stretch will continue for another couple of days. Thursday brings quiet weather for the daytime hours, but an approaching cold front at night could bring us our first chance of rain in more than a week.
