Fidelity Bank builds new classroom block for Abbeykope D/A Basic School

As part of its “Orange Impact” social responsibility program, a bank renovated a six-unit school block and installed a rainwater harvesting system. At the handover ceremony, key stakeholders such as the District Chief Executive, District Director of Education, traditional leaders, and representatives from partner organizations like Pencils of Promise and the Centre for Sustainable Transformation (EcoSchools) were present. The school’s Head Teacher, Enoch Anyingmor Teye, noted that the school, built in 2006, faced challenges due to the lack of significant renovations amid increasing enrollment.
